To support our growing development team, we are looking for an AI-Native Full Stack Engineer Java, Spring Boot, Angular & AWS (m/w/d) as soon as possible.

Your Mission

You will develop full-stack software using Java/Spring Boot and Angular – and systematically utilize AI to deliver faster and better. We are looking for candidates who understand the concept of AI Coding Levels and ideally already work at Level 3 or higher (e.g., Agent-Workflows, Tool-Orchestration, AI-assisted Tests/Refactoring). Your goal: robust, maintainable software – AI-assisted, but engineering-first – deployed in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Development of modern full-stack applications with Java & Spring Boot and Angular
• Design & Implementation of scalable microservices and APIs in an AWS cloud architecture
• Productive integration of LLMs/GenAI in features (e.g., intelligent assistance, search, automation, recommendations)
• Building backend services for orchestration of AI workflows (e.g., retrieval/embeddings, prompting, evaluation)
• Introduction & further development of AI coding workflows (tooling, standards, templates, guardrails)
• AI-assisted engineering: refactoring, migrations, test generations and documentation - with clear quality gates
• Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (Docker, possibly Kubernetes)
• Ensuring code quality, maintainability, observability, and security-by-design

Requirements

• Several years of full-stack experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Angular in production environments
• Cloud and AWS experience (e.g., ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM) and understanding of deployments
• Strong architectural understanding (microservices, API design, clean code, domain/business logic)
• AI-native deployment: systematic use of AI for software creation (planning, implementation, refactoring, tests)
• Understanding of AI coding levels: ideally working at Level 3+ (Agent-Workflows/Orchestration/Quality Gates)
• Experience with LLM integration (APIs, prompting, context/RAG/embeddings) or strong motivation to build this deeply
• Experience with CI/CD, automated tests, and quality standards (code reviews, linting, security)
• Analytical mindset, innovative spirit, and high quality standards
• Very good German skills (at least C1)
• A valid residence and work permit for Germany is required
