Job Description
We're looking for an AI-powered AI Web Designer to ship landing pages, opt-in pages, and email templates for our newsletter network at a high pace. This is not a pure UI/UX role - you won't polish one screen for weeks. You ship many pages fast, own the process end-to-end, and drive the work without waiting for a detailed backlog.
Responsibilities
- Turn existing source material into page-ready content
- Generate design from that content using AI, then refine it by hand or with AI
- Build and ship pages on site builders, connect forms, and make sure everything is visually correct, responsive, and bug-free across desktop and mobile
- Design and ship email templates (Beehiiv or similar) alongside landing pages
- Ship visually distinct, non-templated designs - every landing page and opt-in should look like its own brand, not a variant of the last one you built
- Expected output: multiple live landing/opt-in pages per week, from source material to live URL
Requirements
- Portfolio of live, shipped landing pages (builder-based work is strongly preferred), demonstrating a diverse visual style rather than repeated templates.
- Hands-on experience with website builders such as Webflow, Framer, Vercel v0, Lovable, or similar, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools.
- Strong understanding of landing page structure, conversion-focused design, visual hierarchy, and user experience, with excellent attention to detail across typography, spacing, responsiveness, forms, links, and overall quality assurance.
- Ability to maintain consistency with established brand guidelines, design systems, and tone of voice while making independent design and content decisions.
- Proven experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) as an essential part of the creative workflow, including advanced prompting, iterative refinement, AI-assisted copy editing, and generating consistent, on-brand visual assets.
- Strong written English (B2+/C1+) with the ability to create effective prompts, refine AI-generated content, and ensure natural, high-quality copy.
- Excellent self-organization, ownership, and proactive communication, with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, report progress regularly, identify blockers early, and thrive in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision.
Nice to Have
- Experience with newsletter platforms or opt-in subscribe pages
- Understanding of what drives sign-ups: subscribe flow, lead magnets, opt-in placement, conversion for email-first pages
- Experience with email template design and its quirks: inline CSS, table layouts, dark mode, client rendering differences (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail)
- Basic brand identity skills: logo, palette, typography for small brand systems
