We are seeking an AI/Agent Engineer to design and optimize autonomous AI agents using Databricks and our AI Hub. Join our innovative team in Essen, Germany, with hybrid work options.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize autonomous AI agents using Databricks and the client's own AI Hub
- Develop structured agent execution flows (goal definition, step evaluation, skill selection, iterative improvement of agent behavior)
- Create and refine prompts, behavioral rules, and system configurations to ensure consistent outputs
- Collaborate with Backend- & Data Engineers to integrate skills into agent workflows, ensuring agents can effectively interact with data products and external systems
- Leverage evaluation frameworks (e.g. MLflow, LLM Judge) to measure and improve agent performance, accuracy, and efficiency
- Work as part of a shared backlog team to ensure end-to-end success of the AI platform and use cases
Requirements
- Knowledge in Databricks AI, model serving, and integration within Azure environments
- Knowledge in LLM-based applications and agent frameworks
- Knowledge in designing structured prompts, defining agent behaviors, and controlling execution flows
- Knowledge in Python programming and integrating AI systems with external services
- Knowledge in LLM evaluation techniques
- Knowledge in multi-agent systems and concepts
- Knowledge in data platforms and products
