Air freight Operations Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both import and export air freight operations, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage both import and export air freight operations.
• Ensure day-to-day operations are handled effectively and efficiently.
• Handle airline bookings and review itineraries and logistics solutions proposed to clients.
• Ensure timely follow-up in accordance with service levels and client requirements.
• Coordinate customs clearance processes.
• Handle DGR shipments in compliance with Dangerous Goods Regulations.
• Coordinate the receipt, review, and processing of shipping documentation.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Communicate and negotiate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Air Freight Operations.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory. (Spanish is also applicable).
• Spanish is a strong asset, as daily communication with the Latin American division may be required.
• Hands-on experience with DGR shipments.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures.
• Experience handling time-critical shipments is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with TMS/Carwise is considered a plus.

• Working schedule: Monday to Friday // 09:00 a.m. - 06:00 p.m. CET
