Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical

About the Position

Bring your ideas to life at Boeing Defence Australia. We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical to join our team at BDA's Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability in Oakey, Queensland. Contribute to the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program at Swartz Barracks, ensuring these aircraft remain mission-ready.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
• Ensure compliance with DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
• Foster effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams.
• Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
• Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
• Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
• Current driver's licence

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working with Military aircraft
• CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
