About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with 4-7 years of experience in business analysis and requirements gathering to join our team in Panama.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business users (treasury, operations, finance).
• Analyze and document business needs, ensuring clarity and consistency.
• Relate functional concepts in real-time during interviews and workshops.
• Prepare structured documentation (user stories, functional specifications, process flows).
• Support the definition of AS-IS and TO-BE processes in banking and treasury.
• Understand the business context and reflect it appropriately in documentation.
• Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate functional understanding.
• Support functional testing (UAT) and solution validation.
• Identify inconsistencies or gaps in requirements and propose improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or similar roles.
• Experience (academic or professional) in requirements gathering and analysis.
• General knowledge of banking products and processes, ideally in treasury (payments, liquidity, cash management).
• Demonstrated ability to relate functional concepts during user interviews.
• Understanding of the banking business context, facilitating the documentation of needs.
• Ability to structure information logically and clearly.
• Good communication skills with functional and technical profiles.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of tools such as Excel, JIRA, Confluence.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to banking treasury processes (cash management, reconciliations, payments).
• Experience in functional documentation within projects (user stories, diagrams).
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Familiarity with process modeling tools (Visio, BPMN).
• Initial courses or certifications in business analysis or finance.
• Interest in developing in the financial and market domain.
