About the Position

Analyst/Associate, Trade Centre of Expertise (COE), Transaction Services

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team at ING Bank in Singapore. As an Analyst/Associate in Trade Centre of Expertise (COE), Transaction Services, you will play a crucial role in managing trade and cash solutions for our corporate clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis of client’s financial statements to determine credit appetite and pricing of programs.
• Analyze receivables portfolios and cash conversion cycles to identify working capital requirements and opportunities.
• Assist in structuring and formulating trade solutions to meet client needs.
• Create commercial presentations to explain proposed solutions to clients.
• Assist in drafting commercial green light requests and credit proposals.
• Support in drafting legal documentation such as receivables purchase agreements and risk participation agreements.
• Manage the Asia portfolio using Excel and/or in-house applications.
• Work with Trade Finance Sales colleagues to process and resolve operational issues.
• Communicate and assist clients with their queries to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Maintain and create operating and monitoring procedure manuals.
• Monitor and report covenants of existing programs.
• Liaise with Treasury and back office teams to ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Draft renewal proposals or credit modifications.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary advice/approvals for program renewals/modifications.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and marketing activities when required.

Requirements

• Critical mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach, willingness to learn, and ability to thrive in a fast and dynamic environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and on multiple projects/deals simultaneously.
• Good communicator and team player.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in credit and/or financial analysis and financial accounting.
• Good understanding of credit risk, trade finance solutions, and experience in deal execution.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Mandarin or Korean (business level) language capabilities are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in trade finance, ideally in the area of working capital solutions.
• Academic degree in economics, management, law, or equivalent.
