Analytics Engineer (Northern Belgium)

Join Xebia as an Analytics Engineer in Northern Belgium. Transform raw data into valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building data transformations that convert raw data into semantic datasets and data products
• Developing reports, dashboards, and analytical datasets in collaboration with Data Stewards and business users
• Translating content-related questions from the business into technical data products in collaboration with the Data Steward of the relevant domain
• Contributing to the business glossary in Microsoft Purview, particularly regarding the definitions resulting from transformations
• Documenting datasets and data products in a manner accessible to business users
• Performing acceptance tests on data deliveries together with the Data Owner and requester
• Contributing to data quality incidents as described in process 3 of the TOM, particularly regarding reports arising from transformations or data products
• Participating in the agile working method of the team
• Contribute to code reviews and quality assurance of the work of fellow engineers

Requirements

• Fluent command of Flemish and English
• Excellent communication skills
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Dbt, and cloud platforms
• Expertise in one or more areas of analytics engineering
