Analytics Engineer Stockholm

As an Analytics Engineer at Sopra Steria, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects with leading companies and organizations, both in the public and private sectors. Together with dedicated colleagues, you will build solutions that strengthen societal functions and improve the daily lives of thousands of people. Through your strong technical skills and understanding of the business, you will create significant value for our clients. You will work with modern data analysis and BI development in Power BI as well as the underlying data platform, and contribute to the development of future-proof analytical solutions. An important part of the role is to understand the needs of the business and ensure that these are the basis for the development of reports and the underlying data. Furthermore, you will make data accessible to the business through analysis, visualization, and strategic advice.

The assignments are usually carried out in team deliveries where you will influence the entire analysis chain – from data collection and modeling to visualization and decision support. At our company, there is a strong focus on knowledge sharing and development, both technically and as a team.

Requirements

• Several years of experience working in the cloud with data analysis, BI, or data engineering with a focus on Power BI & semantic models.
• Experience working closely with the business to translate business needs into analytical functionality.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and/or Azure Databricks.
• Good understanding of DAX, SQL, and modeling.
• Comfortable working in both Swedish and international environments – you are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, Qlik, Tableau, Data Engineering, AI, and Data Science.
