About the Role

We are looking for individuals who will co-create the "new normal" of the future through mobility as important members of Toyota Woven City. Through communication with Inventors, you will aim to inspire and accelerate inventive activities and achieve the mass production of happiness. This position is crucial in creating opportunities for residents to participate in demonstration activities and designing a community where residents can actively engage in co-creation.

Aiming for a "win-win-win" situation among city operations, Inventors, and residents, you will negotiate and build relationships with various stakeholders. In the short term, you will ensure the successful onboarding of residents (smoothly moving into and engaging with the city), and in the medium to long term, you will take ownership of community formation centered around residents to enhance the value creation of the entire city.

Responsibilities

Form and manage a community including residents and inventors to promote their participation in co-creation and demonstration activities
Support residents from move-in to move-out, resolving uncertainties and increasing satisfaction in their lives and demonstration experiments
Improve operations based on challenges and ideas, and establish a feedback cycle
Expand the network of people outside the area, including former residents, and build long-term relationships
Plan, operate, and manage facilities that form the foundation of community building, manage external staff, and disseminate information

Requirements

(Industry experience benchmark: 5 years or more)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Work experience in community management, facility management, area management, or urban planning
Experience in driving projects involving internal departments and external stakeholders
Work experience in event planning and management or content creation based on communication strategies
Business-level Japanese and conversational English
A proactive attitude towards creating unknown values and tackling troubles, thinking for others, and taking concrete actions to execute them
A positive and goal-oriented attitude to enjoy interacting with diverse people, empathize with residents and the city, and discover challenges and ideas together
