Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Purchasing Coordination / 采购项目管理与跨部门协同

   • Coordinate project deliverables within the global and local purchasing matrix (e.g., project timing tracking, regular milestone meetings with central/regional purchasing teams, close collaboration with plant project teams).
   • Act as the primary purchasing interface for internal stakeholders (Development/ENG, Manufacturing/MOE, Process/TEF, and Quality/PUR-Q).
   • Take responsibility for realizing external procurement goals in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technology (QCDT) prior to SOP.

2. Supplier Development & APQP / 供应商开发与零部件项目推进

   • Manage casting and machining part purchasing from concept to launch, including sourcing schedules, Supplier Quality Plans (SQP), Technical Specification Reviews (TSR), supplier feasibility confirmations, and tooling/process approvals.
   • Serve as the core know-how carrier for casting and machining processes (die casting gating/venting, alloy metallurgy, CNC machining cycles, clamping/tooling, heat & surface treatment), providing optimized supply chain and DFM solutions for new and redesigned parts.
   • Support Commodity Purchasing (PUR) and Supplier Quality (PUR-Q) teams to continuously optimize the supplier footprint, enhance technical capability, and improve capacity flexibility.

3. Cost Down Owner & Value Engineering / 降本责任人与价值工程

   • Act as the dedicated owner of cost-reduction targets for assigned parts; actively identify, evaluate, and drive cost-saving initiatives in close collaboration with cross-functional teams in China and overseas.
   • Perform bottom-up should-cost calculations for castings and machined parts (raw materials/ingot scrap balance, casting cycle time, machine tonnage rates, CNC cycle time, tooling/insert wear, scrap rates) to support target costing and negotiations.
   • Lead value analysis and value engineering (VAVE) workshops (e.g., near-net shape optimization, machining allowance minimization, cycle time optimization, multi-cavity tooling upgrades, material substitution, localization).

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science / Metallurgy, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Professional Experience: Solid background in purchasing, supplier development, or manufacturing/process engineering, with proven project management experience.
• Language & Communication: Fluent English in reading, writing, speaking, and listening; able to interact comfortably within global project teams.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with SAP and AI tools is preferred.
