The Ubiquiti Prague office is looking for an experienced Android Developer.

This role requires working from our Prague office at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Android applications
• Collaborate closely with designers to deliver polished user experiences
• Implement pixel-perfect designs from Figma
• Consume RESTful APIs and WebSocket communication
• Optimize application performance and manage memory efficiently
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues
• Design and ship long-lived applications with maintainable architecture and high code quality
• Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with a solid understanding of the Android SDK and application lifecycle
• Experience with Jetpack libraries, Coroutines and/or RxJava, and dependency injection
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and WebSocket communication
• Experience implementing pixel-perfect designs from Figma and collaborating closely with designers to deliver polished user experiences
• Solid understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, debugging, and memory management
• Comfortable designing and shipping long-lived applications with maintainable architecture and high code quality
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills
• Fluency with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.)
• Fluent in English and Czech

Nice to Have

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience building applications with real-time updates, connected devices, or IoT products
• Experience with multi-module Android projects
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
