Android Developer Intern

About the Position

Concept Reply, part of the Reply Network, is a leader in IoT solutions. We support and advise our customers in Automotive, Manufacturing, Smart Infrastructure, and beyond in all aspects of Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud Computing. We are looking for a Mid-Level Android Developer with at least 3 years of experience (including education) developing Android mobile applications. The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment and have experience building reliable and scalable Android applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, QA, UI/UX, and product owners
• Integrate APIs and third-party libraries
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and optimize app performance
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Support production releases and ongoing maintenance activities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Android development
• Strong experience with Kotlin and Java
• Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio
• Knowledge of MVVM or other modern architecture patterns
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Strong understanding of Android app lifecycle and performance optimization

Nice to Have

• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Knowledge of Firebase or analytics integrations
• Experience in automotive, IoT, or connected services applications

We Offer

• Base compensation range: $27.50 - $35.00 per hour
• Contract position
• Hybrid work environment
