About the Position
We are looking for an Android Developer to join our team in Zoetermeer, Netherlands. As part of Miniclip, a global leader in games, you will work on the development of the Android app for Online Soccer Manager (OSM). Your role will involve maintenance, feature development, bug fixing, and code checks. You will actively collaborate with your team members and contribute to scrum meetings.
Responsibilities
- Work in multifunctional teams on the development of the Android app for Online Soccer Manager (OSM)
- Perform maintenance, develop new features, fix bugs, and release them to users
- Conduct code checks on the work of your team members
- Translate creative designs into technically sound solutions
- Stay updated with the latest developments in app development and share knowledge with colleagues
- Actively contribute to daily scrum, retro, planning, refinement, and review meetings
Requirements
- Completed a relevant HBO or WO study
- 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a game studio
- Proficiency in Kotlin/Java
- Excellent problem-solving skills, being hands-on, solution-oriented, proactive, and analytical
- Ability to work in a structured way with a well-thought-out architecture
- Awareness of the latest possibilities within Android and the ability to translate these into practice
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally and personally
- Affinity with football & gaming is a bonus
