About the Position
We are seeking an Android Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation to join our team in Egypt for a Next-Generation Infotainment System project.
Project Description
Next-Generation Infotainment System project for a German premium carmaker at Luxoft Automotive Division. The project covers all stages from design to development and delivery to the client. The project team works in tight collaboration with one of the premium OEMs in the world and is located in the Southeast Asia region. You will have the opportunity to be part of the team that is developing functionality for the most technologically advanced cars in the world.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases for Android Automotive / infotainment systems
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
- Analyze defects and support root cause analysis
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and system teams
- Contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements

Must have
- Strong experience (3+ years) in software testing (manual + some automation)
- Good understanding of Android OS / Android Automotive
- Experience with test case design and defect tracking
- Familiarity with integration/system testing
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong programming skills in Kotlin or Java (3+ years)
- Hands-on experience with Linux terminal, Bash, and shell scripting (3+ years)

Nice to have
- Experience in automotive domain (IVI, connectivity, HMI)
- Knowledge of test automation tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Exposure to log analysis (ADB, system logs)
- Experience with Python scripting for testing/automation
