About the Position

APAC Industrial Baking Center Engineer

Lesaffre, a global leader in yeasts and fermentation, is seeking an experienced APAC Industrial Baking Center Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing technical support and developing innovative bakery solutions for industrial customers.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the industrial sales team to provide professional technical support and effective customer service for national and regional industrial customers.
• Collaborate with the industrial customer sales team to identify new product development requests, problem-solving solutions, and customer needs through customer visits and follow-ups.
• Independently lead or participate in project teams to conduct laboratory tests, customer production line trials, bakery product development, and demonstrations, while meeting both customer needs and internal company requirements.
• Stay updated on the baking market, customer feedback, competitors, samples, bakery-related businesses, industry associations, and events, and provide related advice and solutions to the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in food science, baking-related majors; master's degree preferred.
• Over 5 years of technical experience in the bakery industry; preference given to those with experience in major projects/key customer services.
• Proficient in baking technology, formula R&D, and production line technology, with familiarity in industry trends and regulations, and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Strong project coordination and cross-departmental collaboration capabilities, with excellent Chinese and English communication skills.
