Aurora Omsorg AS is a Northern Norwegian care company established in autumn 2019. We are well-established with operations in child welfare, care services, and reception services across Northern Norway. We are expanding our operations in Troms and Finnmark.

Aurora Omsorg AS was established in autumn 2019 and is now well-established with operations in child welfare, care services, and reception services in Northern Norway, Trondheim, and Oslo. Our main office is located in Tromsø, with additional offices in Bodø, Senja, and Oslo. We currently have approximately 470 permanent employees. We have entered into operational agreements with UDI, framework agreements with bufdir, and other agreements with larger and smaller municipalities throughout the region.

About the Job
Aurora Omsorg offers care in small units where the core idea is that each resident's daily life is arranged according to their needs. With small units and "few" employees and other residents, the conditions for adjusting and modifying the environmental therapeutic work for the individual are increased. This will enhance the conditions for success in working with young people and ensuring that young people thrive, experience personal growth, and positive development.
We are in constant growth and need more permanent employees, night guards, and on-call substitutes.
Our care units are located in Trondheim, Bodø, Tromsø, Målselv, and Kirkenes.

What is a co-living shift?
This means that the staff sleep and live at the workplace with the children while they are at work. At our company, you will work in a co-living shift: 3 days at work, 7 days off, 4 days at work, 7 days off.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to residents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive environment.
- Document care activities and progress.
- Engage in daily activities with residents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or in progress in health and social care education (nurse, social worker, nurse, child welfare pedagogue).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outgoing, caring, and an active listener with a strong commitment to daily activities.
- Valid driver's license class B and satisfactory police certificate (not older than 3 months - we request this before employment).
