API Test Automation Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking an API Test Automation Engineer with 8+ years of testing experience and 3+ years in API and microservices automation to join our team in Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full application development lifecycle for the development of Java applications, Microservices, and reusable components to support overall project objectives.
• Leverage design patterns, test-driven development (TDD), and behaviour-driven development (BDD) to build software that is reliable and easy to support in production.
• Must be adaptable to different responsibilities, and possess strong communication skills in order to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Design and deliver front-to-back technical solutions and integrate into business processes.
• Participate in hands-on coding, code reviews, architectural decisions, and reviews.
• Work in an Agile Systems Development Life Cycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of strong testing experience
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Test Automation of APIs and micro services
• Automation in API, BDD with cucumber, serenity framework, Playwright for UI and Java
• Must have worked in GitHub environment
• Must have exposure on Cloud technologies (preferably GCP)
• Good understanding of Test practices
• Database knowledge is required
• All the above should be hands-on and very good communication skills
