About the Position

appflame – A leading Ukrainian product IT company that creates world-class products: Hily, Taimi, AdConnect, Mailkeeper, and more. We are looking for a Middle Data Analyst to join our team in Kyiv, UA.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the analytics foundation from scratch: data pipelines, core metrics, and dashboards.
• Track and analyze key product and marketing metrics: CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention, cohorts, etc.
• Work with data from AppsFlyer, Amplitude, advertising networks, and internal databases.
• Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models.
• Run and analyze A/B tests across product and marketing.
• Investigate anomalies and answer ad-hoc business questions independently.
• Generate hypotheses for growth and user acquisition optimization.
• Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to the team in a clear, actionable way.
• Automate recurring reports and continuously improve analytical processes.
• Explore and implement AI tools to enhance and accelerate the analytics workflow.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience working as Data Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and BigQuery.
• Experience building dashboards and translating data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Good understanding of key product and marketing metrics.
• Experience running and analyzing A/B tests.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English.
• Experience working with MMPs (Appsflyer) and advertising networks.
• Experience working with forecasting models.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and analytically minded - takes ownership of results and is not afraid to advocate for data-driven decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Familiarity with ML models for forecasting or anomaly detection.
• Experience working in a subscription-based or mobile app business.
• Basic knowledge of data engineering.
