Responsibilities

As an Application Architect, you will be responsible for:

Defining the solution architecture and technical specifications.
Producing analysis and design artefacts (data models, APIs, and technical documentation).
Ensuring compliance with architectural, security, and quality requirements.
Providing technical guidance and support to the development team during implementation.
Reviewing technical designs and contributing to resolving complex technical issues.
Coordinating technical activities with architects, analysts, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience: 10+ years in Application and microservices architecture.
Location: Lisbon, PT.
Skills:
- Java / Spring Boot, REST APIs (OpenAPI) and AsyncAPI
- Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloud-Native architectures
- Architectural patterns: DDD, Event-Driven Architecture, CQRS, Event Sourcing
Preferred Skills:
- MongoDB and data modelling
- IAM, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and application security
- CI/CD, DevOps practices, and software development best practices
- Knowledge of European standards and data protection regulations (GDPR/EUDPR)
