Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, and review PeopleSoft applications utilizing People Tools, Application Designer, People Code, Application Engine, Oracle BI Publisher, SQR, and SQL queries.
- Develop complex PeopleSoft Application Engine programs based on customer requirements.
- Write complex People Code to customize PeopleSoft applications to enrich functionalities of the system.
- Design and develop complex SQR programs based on customer requirements.
- Design and develop complex PeopleSoft Queries based on customer requirements.
- Design, develop, and unit test technical solutions to given functional/business requirements leveraging the latest PeopleSoft development tools.
- Design and develop complex PeopleSoft Integration Broker to integrate PeopleSoft with third-party systems.
- Design and develop complex component interfaces based on customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs identified during testing and coordinate to migrate and close out their fixes.
- Design and develop complex Application Packages based on customer requirements.
- Support PeopleSoft Core HR, Self Service, Pension Administration, and North American Payroll modules.
- Document technical solutions in accordance with NYS development and documentation standards.
- Work in coordination with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Produce documentation such as technical and functional designs, as well as options documentation based on the requirements gathered from the customer.
- Write Structured Query Language (SQL) proficiently as it will be used heavily to diagnose problems and resolve issues.
- Report timely and accurate statuses on assigned and in-progress work and escalate any concerns or impediments encountered to the Application Development Lead appropriately.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft applications, PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Oracle BI Publisher, SQR, SQL, PeopleSoft Queries, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, Application Packages, PeopleSoft Core HR, Self Service, Pension Administration, North American Payroll, and Structured Query Language (SQL).
