About the Position
Join EASO in Valletta, Malta, as a Senior Application Developer! Work in an international environment, contributing to the design, development, and improvement of critical business applications. Help shape user-friendly solutions for EU projects while working with modern technologies like PHP, JavaScript, Drupal, and Azure.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and user requirements to establish a backlog for development, interoperability, integration, and better user experience solutions.
- Analyze requirements, design, and make proposals on the architecture of the application.
- Implement business user requirements.
Requirements
- Object Oriented Programming languages
- Working with SQL (MSSQL and MySQL) databases
- Asynchronous and JavaScript and XML programming
- POI, Jasper reports, MSSQL Reporting engine software packages
- Web site development, management, and support
- JavaScript ES6 jQuery
- PHP
- Web technologies and web design (e.g. JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS)
- Building and maintaining progressive web apps
- Front end and back end technologies
- Azure
- Building and consuming web services and APIs
- SQL server database structures
- Drupal 9, Drupal 10, and Drupal 11 environment
- Information management technologies and platforms especially Drupal
