About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Application Production Support professional fluent in English for our Banking and Financing Services in Germany.

Responsibilities

Support the business in their IT needs and understand the business workflows and scenarios
Maintain proper coverage in their designated shift
Voluntarily pick up work and tasks received over email, tickets, or in person
Provide updates to business, team members, and other project/task partnering teams on issues/tasks/projects
Document and train other team members
Shadow other team members and seek to learn to improve day-to-day coverage of the platforms
Share knowledge within the team and document issues/incidents for better follow-up
Improve day-to-day tasks by writing scripts and automating procedure-oriented tasks
Understand the underlying issues and associated patch fixes/releases and identify systemic issues
Availability to work during holidays/weekends as per pre-defined needs and on a rotational basis with the rest of the team

Good knowledge and capabilities in scripting languages, network, Windows, and Linux environments
Oracle SQL knowledge is mandatory
Oracle WebLogic knowledge is a plus
ITIL understanding is also a plus
