Application Security Architect - Bulgaria

Responsibilities

• Taking the role of a security architect in the implementation projects
• Analysis of solution design and security requirements, development of security design and configurations.
• Identification of security gaps in Netcracker product and proposing cost-efficient solutions
• Consulting development teams in implementation of security controls
• Performing security audits at the level of source code, configurations, and deployment architecture.
• Preparation of the scope for internal and external security testing, analysis of external security testing reports.
• Work as a part of the implementation team with customer

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of practical experience in the application security domain.
• An analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience in enterprise software development processes.

Skills and Experience

• Deep knowledge of web and mobile application security
• Proven experience implementing secure web and mobile applications
• Knowledge of authentication standards (OAuth 2.0, Open ID Connect, SAML)
• Understanding of the architecture of protected web and mobile applications
• Familiarity with relevant vulnerabilities and methods of their addressing/remediation
• Secure design patterns of business flows within web and mobile applications
• Cryptography specifications (TLS, X.509, hashing and encryption algorithms, handshake)
• White box security assessment approaches
• Linux security architecture and capabilities
• Kubernetes (k8s) security infrastructure and capabilities
• API security
• Implementation of GDPR implementation in corporate applications
