Responsibilities

As an Application Support Agent Junior you will:

• Receive, log, and manage user requests, incidents, and inquiries via email, phone, or in person.
• Provide technical support by troubleshooting issues, performing root-cause analysis, and identifying appropriate solutions or actions.
• Ensure end-users are regularly informed about the status and progress of their requests.
• Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to understand and define their needs for the evaluation process.
• Deliver training sessions and provide guidance to staff on relevant tools, systems, and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to align user needs with system improvements.
• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of documentation, manuals, and knowledge-sharing materials.

Requirements

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Higher education or equivalent overall experience.
• At least 2 years of successful experience in application support.
• A background in veterinary science, veterinary medicine, or a related veterinary field is required.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand processes.
• Hands-on experience working with a ticketing system.
• Excellent communication skills in English with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is an advantage.
• Experience with European Institutions is a significant plus.
