About the Position
Applications Manager - NAV/BC - Elizabeth, NJ - $140k
Our client is a mid-sized, family-run consumer products distributor with a global presence that is looking for an IT Applications Manager to support a growing operation.
They are embarking on a Microsoft Business Central upgrade and want someone who can own the product, providing strategic outlook and hands-on support for a system that has integrated applications for e-commerce, EDI, and WMS.

Responsibilities
- Managing the application ecosystem which is comprised of a variety of business systems including Microsoft Business Central, CRM, Power BI, and EDI
- Collaborate with C-Level executives, line-level personnel, and a third-party VAR on leading upgrades across their technology platform
- Troubleshoot complex systems and identify long-term paths for improvement
- Contribute to further automation in the application environment
- Lead Power BI report automation efforts, integrating from finance and operations software
- Establish a project management methodology to ensure on-time delivery
- Ensure appropriate testing is performed on all application bug fixes, enhancements, and upgrades
- Act as the first line of support for any user issues
- Document business processes, perform gap-fit analysis, and configure workflows for improved performance
