Applied AI Architect, Public Sector

About the Position

We are seeking an Applied AI Architect to join our team in Washington, DC, focusing on public sector national security missions. As a trusted technical advisor, you will help customers understand and integrate our AI systems into their technology stack, ensuring safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated technical advisor for national security mission programs, from discovery through deployment.
• Support customers in using Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure AI performance for mission-specific use cases.
• Guide technical architecture decisions and integration into the customer's existing stack.
• Coordinate internally across Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive customer success.
• Create and deliver technical content from engineering deep dives to executive briefings.
• Work primarily on-site with the customer's engineering and mission teams in secure government facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Prior experience within US intelligence community agencies
  • Experience in technical customer-facing roles
  • Exceptional communication skills for diverse stakeholders
  • Hands-on expertise in cyber operations, cryptography, intelligence analysis, mission systems, CBRN, or classified systems.

• Preferred qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager roles
  • Familiarity with LLM frameworks and tools
  • Background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science
  • Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems
  • Experience deploying and operating software in air-gapped or classified environments

• Competitive annual salary range: $240,000 - $315,000 USD
