Applied AI Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join our team in India, working remotely. Webscale is a leading managed services platform that streamlines the migration and management of eCommerce storefronts in any public cloud. We are on a mission to enable the next generation of shopping experiences using AI and data. Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to build and deploy GenAI and machine learning solutions from use case scoping to model deployment in agentic systems focused on delivering real business value using large scale data and orchestration frameworks.
• Design and deliver AI solutions, moving beyond prompt engineering and RAG, designing stateful agents with tool calling, memory, and routing using LangGraph, MCP, or similar tools.
• Lead the architecture and implementation of AI agents that autonomously complete eCommerce workflows via third-party systems (APIs, web apps, documents).
• Develop and support AI components including model inference, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, and observability.
• Work with a full stack of open-source and cloud-based AI tools like AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, VectorDBs, and PyTorch.
• Ensure a strong foundation in data engineering (pipelines, ETL, real-time data processing), scalable infrastructure (cloud-native architectures, microservices, container orchestration).
• Full-stack product development including building intuitive user interfaces and end-to-end experiences for production-grade AI applications is a strong plus.
• Stay current with agent research and apply new techniques pragmatically to improve scalability, latency, and cost in production AI systems.

We Offer

• Salary Range: ₹20 to ₹30 Lacs per annum.
