About the Position
Architecte d’application focus security
Context of the Mission
The aspect of security in the development of new software is an essential element of the new NIS2 directive, which came into effect in October 2024. Within the Belgian framework CyFun, developed by the Center for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB), several checkpoints have been defined to ensure the compliance of companies and public institutions with this regulation.
PR.IP-2: The development process for critical systems and components must cover the entire design cycle and include a description of the functional properties of security controls, as well as design and execution information for security-related system interfaces.
Within the SPF Justice, we want this regulation to be more than a simple checklist composed of procedures and checkboxes. Our goal is to integrate software development security (secure development) into our daily procedures and way of working. It is with this in mind that a secure development project is launched, of which this document is the starting point.
Responsibilities
- Integrate secure development into daily activities
- Promote security and development concepts
- Evaluate and comment on technical designs
- Provide advice on hardware and software infrastructure and methodologies
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in similar projects in an environment comparable to SPF Justice
- Minimum 3 years of experience in reviewing security architectures
- Minimum 3 years of experience in setting up SCA, SAST, and DAST tools in a CI/CD chain
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevSecOps
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Agile / Lean Software Development
- Security Frameworks (CyFun, SAMM, …)
- Quality Assurance & Testing (test-driven development)
- Results-oriented, customer focus, and sense of responsibility
- Planning and organizational skills, ability to manage, control, and adjust
- Negotiation skills and relationship management
- Ability to build, manage, and supervise a team
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of Angular
- Knowledge of Oracle
- Knowledge of Web Services and Service Bus Technology
- Familiarity with the SAMM framework
- Familiarity with the CyFun framework

Application Period:
- 880 hours during the second semester of 2027
- Optional extension for 2028, up to a maximum of 1760 hours, subject to approval by the Finance Inspectorate.
