About the Role

The Defense and Security agency in Bordeaux is dedicated to the command and securing of critical operations. Our dynamic and united team works towards a common goal: Supporting the Ministry of the Armies to meet its capacity and strategic challenges with cutting-edge tools.

At the heart of the Excellence and Innovation that make our projects successful year after year, Sopra Steria continues its development and offers you to join our community of architects within its pole dedicated to Defense Innovation, Experimentation, and Simulation. You evolve in a multi-technological, multi-trade, multi-client context, within dynamic and united teams.

Your role and missions:

Within a dynamic team, in a human-sized environment, you evolve in an innovative technological environment with rich, stimulating, and highly visible activities; in your area of expertise (Cloud, Software, Simulation, DevOps), in the profile of fixed-price projects of the Air and Space Army or Technical Centers of the DGA. You ensure:

The choice and definition of software and system architectures
The analysis of technical impacts of new solutions and the coherence of the architecture
The realization of technical audits
Participation in the evaluation of possible technical risks
The realization of mock-ups or prototypes
Contribution to pre-sales
Active participation in ecosystem fairs
The valorization of innovation and R&D work
The definition and mastery of technical commitments of the project (design and technical orientations)
Participation in the change management of our client
The analysis and monitoring of the technical roadmap
The technical securing of projects
The support of the entire team thanks to your technical expertise and knowledge of best practices
Management: you will make the teams grow
The implementation of continuous improvement and innovation
Responsibility for the quality of the code and deliveries
Contribution to our approach of industrialization and continuous improvement on the projects.

Qualifications

Your profile:

Holder of a Master 2 or an Engineer's degree or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience in software architecture

Definition of functional, application, technical, and operational architectures in the context of end-to-end projects
Management of young architects
Organization and structuring of technological and innovation watch
Principles of security, continuous industrialization, agility

Strong in your experience, you have the desire to share your expertise with a team of passionate people. You have a good capacity for adaptation to different interlocutors and know how to react quickly to changes.
