Responsibilities
As part of the Hardware R&D Software & Embedded Architecture Department, the technical architect plays a key role in specifying and supporting the development of our connected products (franking machines and Folder Inserters/Inserters).
In our organization, software development teams work predominantly in Agile mode, and each team reports to the technical architect responsible for specifying our products.
The technical architect plays an essential role in defining our system solutions and the innovative approach to our products through their technical and business expertise. In liaison with the project team and notably the project manager, they specify the technical architecture of our products and ensure that the product has been developed according to the requirements. They are a driving force behind the major evolutions of our products (security, protocol, rate calculator…) and bring their expertise to other teams (technical support, explanation of the architecture). They must also follow the evolution of technologies, postal and security standards applicable to our products.
The technical architect may be in contact with other R&D trades (electronics, mechanics, Quality, Industrialization,...).
Requirements

Technical Skills:
- Very good knowledge of embedded environments and their constraints
- Networking knowledge (IPV4, IPV6, Wifi, IoT, AWS, TCP, TLS…)
- Knowledge in the field of Cybersecurity
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS
- Knowledge of a programming language and experience in defining graphical interfaces would be a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge is desirable

Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in architecture definition
- At least one experience in software development
- You have experience in specifying product architecture and demonstrate rigor in your work
- You have an open mind, are results-oriented, and respect commitments
- You can demonstrate certain relational qualities and pedagogy
