Responsibilities

• Responsibility for mechanical maintenance in your area of responsibility, considering plant availability, safety, and cost optimization.
• Technical guidance and coordination of internal employees and management of external service providers and subcontractors.
• Ensuring compliance with work, safety, and environmental regulations, including the briefing and monitoring of subcontractors.
• Analysis and continuous improvement of maintenance and failure processes in cooperation with production and reliability.
• Participation in the planning and implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance measures and optimization of maintenance intervals.
• Organization and management of major maintenance measures and repairs, including spare parts management.
• Planning, documentation, and follow-up of all maintenance activities in the designated systems and participation in the on-call service.

Requirements

• Vocational training as an industrial mechanic or similar and a degree as an industrial master or state-certified technician in the field of mechanics.
• Several years of professional experience in the maintenance and servicing of hydraulic systems and components, ideally in the field of large press systems.
• Very good German skills (C1 level) and good English skills.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Good knowledge of MAXIMO and common MS Office applications.
• Knowledge in control technology (especially drive technology).
• Convincing appearance, excellent communication skills, result-oriented action, and hands-on mentality.
