Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a team of first and second-line leaders in collaboration with other functional teams.
  • Set clear expectations and follow through effectively.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship, ensuring that managers do the same for their teams.
  • Consistently meet and exceed targets, ensuring company goals and objectives are achieved.
  • Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for the assigned region.
  • Manage the region by establishing accurate plans and forecasts, prioritizing efforts, and generating short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective.
  • Implement sales force structure, process strategies, and strategic resource plans to capitalize on key opportunities in target markets.
  • Uncover customer insights, define value propositions, and determine appropriate sales and marketing strategies to maximize growth objectives.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the team demonstrates and deploys resources expertly and for the highest impact.
  • Collaborate with sales engineering, channels/alliances, customer success, renewals, professional services, product, legal, marketing, and engineering teams to create a flawless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years in building and running enterprise sales teams; second-line management experience required.
  • Industry Experience: Relevant software industry experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, business applications, or analytics.
  • Subscription, SaaS, or Cloud Software Experience: Mandatory.
  • Track Record: History of consistently meeting/exceeding targets and objectives personally and as a leader.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and influencing skills; ability to build strong business partnerships both outside and within the organization. Skilled at business planning and measuring progress towards the plan, identifying roadblocks, and coming up with appropriate solutions.
  • Professionalism: Highly professional persona and polished demeanor.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective at delivering executive-level presentations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus.
  • Travel: Ability to travel ~20%.
  • Languages: Fluent in (Swiss) German & English (both written & spoken) is mandatory.
