We are seeking a dedicated physician for infection control in the public health department of Coesfeld, focusing on various aspects of public health.

Responsibilities

• Infection Control
• Tuberculosis Care
• Hospital Hygiene
• Environmental Health
• Travel Vaccination Counseling
• Environmental Health Assessments
• Building Planning
• Drinking Water Monitoring

Requirements

• A license to practice medicine
• Preferably a completed specialist training (ideally in Public Health, Hygiene and Environmental Medicine, Microbiology, Internal Medicine, or General Medicine)
• A competent, responsible personality with a strong interest in population health issues
• Sound medical judgment
• Ability to clearly communicate complex health information to diverse audiences
• Diplomatic and confident demeanor, even in situations with conflicting interests
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to make technically and legally sound decisions in dynamic situations

Nice to Have

• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
• Possession of a Class B driver's license (former Class 3) and willingness to use personal vehicle for official trips with travel reimbursement according to the State Travel Expenses Act
• Proof of sufficient measles protection (for those born after 1970)
