We’re looking for an Assistant Manager with 4-6 years of experience in M&A life cycle, integration & separation of a business post-announcement of transaction, cross-border M&A, with a basic understanding of the industries such as Life Sciences, Healthcare, TMT, CPR, Industrials and Energy. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with onshore teams to define project scope, establish work plans, and align requirements to ensure timely delivery and achievement of project objectives.
- Support project engagement teams supporting transaction strategy and execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables and alignment with client expectations.
- Oversee and guide junior team members, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support career development through coaching and mentorship.
- Support business development efforts, identify opportunities for engagement expansion, support proposal development, and contribute to business growth by preparing client-ready presentations and assisting in pursuits.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, regulatory landscapes, and competitive positioning to inform transaction strategy.
Requirements
- Core Skills:
- Basic understanding of M&A life cycle, integration & separation of a business post-announcement of transaction, cross-border M&A.
- Ability to leverage AI-enabled tools for deal execution; comfort using GenAI for executive-ready storytelling, scenario analysis, and productivity acceleration while adhering to EY risk, data privacy, and quality standards.
- Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of analytical tools such as PowerBI, Smartsheets, Power Query, Alteryx, Macros.
- Project management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Team handling and people management skills.
Qualifications
- Post Graduate degree in business, engineering, from a premier institute with 4-6 years of applicable industry and/or consulting experience.
- Understanding of M&A life cycle, integration and separation of a business post-announcement of transaction, cross-border M&A.
- Well versed with MS Excel, PowerPoint and understanding of GenAI/AI capabilities.
- Willingness to undertake international travel as per business requirement.
