About the Position

Assistant Manager - FLM Mechanical/Electrical

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd, a 100% Bosch-owned company in India, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for Facility Management Mechanical/Electrical in Pune, Maharashtra. The role involves overseeing installations, maintenance, and project execution for world-class Hydraulic Brake System Parts and innovative vehicle safety components.

Responsibilities

• Facility Management: Evaluate, plan, and coordinate all installations, telecommunications, power, compressed air, HVAC, water, and captive power plant operations, maintenance, and refurbishment. Ensure effective waste management and recycling systems, including disposal of industrial effluents and waste/treated water in accordance with industrial safety norms.
• Utilities Consumption: Review utilities consumption, inspect civil, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure to determine the need for repairs or renovations, and strive to minimize costs.
• Projects Energy/Water: Analyze energy and water consumption, assess expenditure, identify areas of improvement, and drive energy and water conservation initiatives to ensure a year-on-year reduction in cost and consumption of natural resources.
• Projects Civil, Infrastructure: Plan and execute projects for building construction/extension as per business requirements, considering future expansions. Coordinate approvals (internal & external, e.g., DOF) for construction.
• Legal & Statutory Requirements: Coordinate and ensure all legal and statutory requirements (civil + utilities) are fulfilled as per the timeline.
• Budget Preparation and Control: Conduct cost calculations, budget preparation and review, identify capital purchases, and control revenue and capital budgets.
• Procurement Support: Assist the procurement team in the procurement of facility management service contracts, consultancy support, and work contracts in accordance with Bosch financial and procurement policies and procedures.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure health and safety compliance, 5’s at the workplace, compliance to C/AU audit points, and HSE audits.
• Housekeeping: Maintain best housekeeping standards at the shop floor, toilets, and facilities.

• Education: BE (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Experience: 10+ years of experience
