About the Position
Assistant Manager Transformation | Gurugram
GMG is a global well-being company retailing, distributing, and manufacturing a portfolio of leading international and home-grown brands across sport, everyday goods, health and beauty, properties, and logistics sectors. We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support the digital and operational transformation of the organization, ensuring the seamless integration of technology with retail operations to drive innovation, growth, and enhanced customer experiences.
Responsibilities

Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations across sales, inventory, and customer service.
- Support the implementation of data-driven methodologies to monitor, evaluate, and improve performance.

Innovation and Digital Transformation:
- Research and support the deployment of emerging technologies and innovative solutions to enhance retail operations.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in the competitive retail IT landscape.

Change Management:
- Act as a catalyst for change, supporting the adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.
- Support teams in transitioning to improved practices through training and mentoring.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Work closely with departments such as Audit, marketing, supply chain, and store operations to ensure cohesive implementation of initiatives.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing and collaboration across teams to foster innovation.

Project Management:
- Maintain project tracker and escalate any deviations from timelines.
- Maintain the risk and issue log and support troubleshooting.
- Ensure sustainability of execution/implementation post rollout and track ROI.
Requirements

Functional/Technical Competencies:
- Understanding of Retail Technology Platforms
- Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
- Agile and Project Management Methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Understanding of customer-centric IT innovations and data analytics
- Stakeholder management capabilities
- Proficiency in process optimization and performance measurement tools

Experience:
- 7 years of experience in business transformation, process optimization, or project management roles.
