About the Position

We are seeking an Assistant Manager - Transformation to lead the digital and operational transformation of the organization, ensuring the seamless integration of technology with business operations to drive innovation, growth, and enhanced customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization:

    • Identify opportunities to streamline operations across sales, inventory, and customer service.
    • Manage the implementation of data-driven methodologies to monitor, evaluate, and improve performance.
  • Innovation and Digital Transformation:

    • Research and manage the deployment of emerging technologies and innovative solutions to enhance retail operations.
    • Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in the competitive retail IT landscape.
  • Change Management:

    • Act as a catalyst for change, supporting the adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.
    • Lead the transition to improved practices through training and mentoring.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:

    • Work closely with departments such as Audit, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Store Operations to ensure cohesive implementation of initiatives.
    • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and collaboration across teams to foster innovation.
  • Project Management:

    • Ensure all project trackers and escalate any deviations from timelines and present status updates.
    • Ensure sustainability of execution/implementation post roll-out and track ROI.

Requirements

  • Functional / Technical Competencies:

    • Understanding of Retail Business
    • Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
    • Agile and Project Management Methodologies
    • Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
    • Strong understanding of AI and data analytics
    • Strong stakeholder management capabilities
    • Proficiency in process optimization and performance measurement tools
    • Understanding of inventory and stock management processes
  • Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in retail transformation, process optimization, or digital innovation roles.
    • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and delivering measurable results.
