Assistant Operation Manager (Hardlines)

Fanling, New Territories, Hong Kong

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the laboratory quality management system, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and related accreditation requirements.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of laboratory data and test reports.
• Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely service delivery.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor testing activities, results, and laboratory performance.
• Support process improvements and operational excellence across the laboratory.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant laboratory experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 17025 and HOKLAS requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
