Assistant Plant Electrical Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for an Assistant Plant Electrical Engineer to join our team in Brockway. This role involves assisting the Plant Engineer in leading and directing all phases of the plant engineering function, including installation, repair, and maintenance of all plant systems, equipment, grounds, and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing preventive maintenance programs
• Coordinate and supervise all construction and service work performed by outside contractors
• Conduct periodic inspections of all plant systems, equipment, facilities, and grounds
• Review shift operations, make decisions, and implement actions relative to changes on shifts that may impact processing, procedures, personnel, equipment, and customer requirements
• Track downtime and provide solutions to decrease downtime

Requirements

• Strong maintenance and/or furnace operations background
• Experience with maintenance management software
• Experience in a maintenance leadership role
• Strong electrical background
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization

Qualifications

• Trade school or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required
• Industrial electrical experience required
• 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership position in a manufacturing facility, glass industry experience is preferred

• Salary Range: Between $91,330 - $115,000 per year, with a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus
