About the Position
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Tailor who is eager to support a high-performing wardrobe function within a live studio environment in the iGaming industry. They should have strong foundational tailoring skills, excellent organizational capabilities, and a hands-on approach to garment preparation. Reliability, professionalism, effectiveness, and eagerness to support are key characteristics of this person. They should be a team player who delivers individual results with precision and consistently meets expectations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with basic alterations, hemming, adjustments, garment finishing, minor repairs, and garment care.
- Prepare costumes and uniforms for fittings and live broadcasts, steam, press, and ensure garments are camera-ready.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of fabrics and costumes, organize wardrobe inventory, and maintain accurate tracking.
- Provide backstage wardrobe assistance before and during live broadcasts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tailoring workspace.
- Support and fully assist the Master Tailor and other team members as needed.
Requirements
- Education and relevant training in Tailoring, Fashion Design, Costume Design, or related field.
- 1-3 years of previous experience in tailoring, garment care, wardrobe assistance.
- Great knowledge and practical experience of garment construction, alterations, and ad-hoc adjustments.
- Ability to operate sewing and pressing equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced studio environment.
