About the Position

We're seeking an Associate- Cloud Network Engineer to design and support secure, scalable cloud networks in a hybrid and multi-cloud environment. Ready to architect the future of secure, scalable cloud networks? We’re looking for a Cloud Network Engineer who thrives in complex, hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You'll have strong, hands-on expertise in getting Enterprise Networks to interact with dynamic Microsoft Azure networks, delivering a golden path to developers, keeping us safe whilst maintaining velocity. The broad scope of this role will allow you to design and support networks spanning, routing & switching - through internetworking to perimeter services such as WAF, DDoS protection and VPN.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, Implementing and Supporting cloud network technologies
  • Working with Managed Service Providers and Professional Service Partners
  • Configuring network security groups, optimizing identity and access flows
  • Collaborating with managed service partners
  • Implementing and supporting networks which underpin wider non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, availability, & performance
  • Utilizing Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) – SaaS / on Prem / Azure
  • Implementing SSL VPNs
  • Implementing Load balancing, including Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)
  • Implementing Perimeter Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/ prevention (IDS/IPS), anti-malware and threat prevention (Microsoft, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks and Cisco)
  • Implementing DDoS Protection services
  • Implementing Cloud identity and access management solutions (in the context of network interactions)

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced technology certification in the given specialism such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate or Cisco CCNP
  • Entry level service management certification such a ITIL Foundation
  • Foundational knowledge of enterprise networking (routing & switching) and security
