Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with various design engineering execution teams across the US and abroad.
• Perform all aspects of mechanical system design engineering and analysis for assigned systems of responsibility.
• Acquire knowledge of both Black & Veatch and industry standards and implement them in project development.
• Prepare moderately complex engineering deliverables, conduct research, and develop project design recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Engineering-in-training (EIT) certification.
• Experience in mechanical system design, engineering analysis, engineering deliverables, engineering codes, engineering standards, engineering calculations, P&ID development, and system design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Instrument and/or Service Air Systems, Demineralized (DM) water supply and make-up systems, Service and potable water supply system, Natural, hydrogen, and nitrogen gas Supply System, Closed cycle cooling water system, High Pressure / Intermediate Pressure / Low / Auxiliary Steam system, Feedwater and condensate systems, CO2 Supply System, and various engineering calculations and P&ID development.

• Competitive compensation range: $91,047.00 - $152,053.00 per year.
