We are currently seeking an Associate, Operational Risks and Safety to join our team in Hong Kong SAR. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations Safety, you will be responsible for participating in activities relating to operations safety, physical security, and risk management. You will be focused on implementing and representing the Operations Safety vertical for Lalamove across all markets, ensuring robust management systems, standards, and procedures relating to safety, security, and operational risk are implemented inline with global and regional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Take part in risk analytics and incident reporting to ensure operational safety of our business.
  • Support in implementing platform worker and goods protection programme.
  • Design worker's claim workflow for markets with relevant laws.
  • Prepare business requirement documents and ISO related documents.
  • Support ad-hoc initiatives, e.g., crisis management and de-escalation.
  • Coordinate with other functions and cities, and external agencies.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • A recognized bachelor's degree or above in any discipline.
  • At least 2 years of working experience.
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing high turnover and daily waged workforce.
  • Experience in defending litigation and prosecution.
  • Ability to conduct predictive performance analytics.
  • Ability to negotiate and reach settlement.
  • Good understanding of human error.
