About the Position
Associate Sales Development Representative / Account Growth Associate
Sombra is a software development and consulting company with 400+ professionals across the US, Ukraine, Colombia, and India. For over 13 years, we've been helping businesses build and scale digital products across FinTech, Healthcare, Logistics, Education, Commerce, and other industries.
We are looking for ambitious, curious, and driven graduates or early-career professionals who want to start a career in technology sales and business development. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how enterprise software services are sold, work directly with experienced sales and account management leaders, and build a career path toward Account Management, Business Development, or Sales leadership.
Responsibilities
- Research client organizations and identify potential stakeholders, decision-makers, and business opportunities.
- Support Account Managers in growing existing client relationships and expanding Sombra’s presence within client organizations.
- Help create and maintain Account Development Plans by gathering information about client goals, challenges, and business priorities.
- Build relationships with client stakeholders through meetings, follow-ups, networking, and ongoing communication.
- Participate in client calls, account reviews, and business development discussions alongside senior team members.
- Learn to identify client needs and understand how Sombra’s services can help solve business and technology challenges.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Delivery Managers, and Sales teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on client goals.
- Track client feedback, stakeholder engagement, and account growth activities in CRM systems and internal tools.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve client satisfaction and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Continuously develop sales, business development, and account management skills through coaching, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
What Success Looks Like
During your first months, you will:
- Develop a strong understanding of Sombra’s services and client portfolio.
- Learn how enterprise account management and business development work in practice.
- Build stakeholder maps and identify potential growth opportunities within client organizations.
- Successfully support client meetings and account growth initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong communication, curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn.
