Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced SEs and sales members to support customer proposals, demo assistance, and technical learning and practice.
• Understand customer business challenges and technical requirements, and be able to propose Snowflake's value.
• Support the preparation and execution of PoCs and technical validations to boost customer decision-making throughout the sales cycle.
• Continuously learn about the evolution of data, cloud, and AI, and deepen your understanding of competing technologies and related vendors.
• Work with internal teams such as product, engineering, and marketing to share field learnings and customer feedback.
• Gradually improve technical skills, presentation skills, and customer proposal skills in line with the standard selection and development expectations of the Japanese SE organization.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in IT-related work
• Strong interest in and continuous learning about SaaS, Cloud, Data Platform, Analytics, and AI-related fields
• Ability to explain technical content clearly to customers or internally
• Basic understanding or the ability to quickly catch up on databases, data warehouses, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies
• Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with SQL and data utilization
• Ability to understand customer challenges and link them to solution proposals
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience
• Fluent in Japanese and comfortable with working in English
• Ability to involve others in learning and achieve results as a team

• Experience in pre-sales, solution proposals, sales engineering, solution engineering, consulting, or similar roles
• Experience with demos, hands-on sessions, PoCs, technical validations, or customer presentations
• Knowledge of public cloud, BI, data integration, AI/ML, and related technologies
• Experience in customer-facing environments involving both technical and business aspects
• Ability to catch up and act quickly in fast-changing environments
