Responsibilities
- Engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms that augment the driving experience
- Combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and a spirit of collaboration with design and engineering excellence
- Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of software development concepts through coursework, academic projects, or internships.
- Basic understanding of Systems Engineering concepts, including requirements management, system integration, verification, and validation, is preferred.
- Exposure to telematics or wireless communication technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G/LTE, or 5G is a plus.
- Basic understanding of in-vehicle communication protocols such as CAN or Ethernet is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity and enthusiasm for automotive and connected vehicle technologies.
- Good English communication skills for working with global teams.
- Ability to collaborate in a multicultural, cross-functional team environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to innovative automotive solutions.
- Japanese communication skills to work with local teams and customers in Japan.
Nice to Have
- Experience with embedded systems
- Familiarity with telematics
- Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G/LTE, 5G)
- Understanding of in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
