Audio Software Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking an Audio Software Engineer with expertise in C/C++ and Python to join our team in Berlin, Germany, focusing on automotive audio technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical support to automotive OEM and Tier-1 customers for integration, customization, validation, and troubleshooting of multimedia and audio solutions across Android, Linux, and QNX platforms.
• Analyze and resolve complex customer issues involving Audio HAL, PAL, AWE-Q, Audio Reach, PulseAudio, TinyALSA, ADSP, and AVB/EAVB audio frameworks.
• Support customer bring-up and feature enablement for audio use cases such as tuner, Bluetooth audio, voice processing, multizone audio, and low-latency audio streaming.
• Work closely with internal engineering teams and customers to drive issue resolution, software integration, performance optimization, and successful product launches.
• Conduct technical workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and provide implementation guidance to accelerate customer adoption of Qualcomm audio technologies and frameworks.
• Create technical documentation, integration guidelines, debug reports, and best practices to support customer development and deployment activities.

  • Audio DSP / Qualcomm DSP knowledge
  • Audio interfaces (I2S, TDM, SoundWire, USB, HDMI)
  • Strong debugging skills
