Audit Specialist

About the Position

Evoplay, one of the leading IT product companies in Ukraine, is seeking an Audit Specialist to join our team in Kyiv, Ukraine. We create comprehensive B2B solutions for the online gaming industry and operate on the international market.

Responsibilities

• Accounting: Maintain accounting records for companies registered in foreign jurisdictions in accordance with IFRS.
• Document Analysis: Collect, analyze, and record primary documents in the accounting system.
• Contract Analysis: Analyze contracts and assess their impact on financial activities.
• External Consultant Interaction: Collaborate with external consultants on accounting and bookkeeping.
• VAT Compliance: Verify the correctness of transaction recording and VAT declaration preparation.
• Quality Control: Ensure the quality of prepared accounting and financial reporting.
• Audit Support: Assist in external audits.
• Other Tasks: Perform other duties related to accounting and financial reporting preparation.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in accounting under IFRS/IAS for companies in Ukraine or foreign jurisdictions.
• Professional Skills:
  • Customer and supplier payment accounting.
  • Bank statement reconciliation.
  • Inventory accounting, revenue and expense recording, service provision and receipt.
  • Tangible and intangible asset accounting.
  • Revenue and expense recording, accruals, and provisions.
  • Foreign currency transactions and exchange rate differences.
  • Data verification and period closing.
• Tax Accounting: Knowledge of current tax legislation, ability to track changes and implement them in work.
• VAT: Practical experience in VAT accounting and independent VAT declaration preparation.
• Document Analysis: Verification of primary documents and contracts for compliance with legal requirements, mandatory details, commercial viability, and correctness of payment terms.
• IT Skills: Proficient user of Excel (advanced level); experience with accounting software.
• Languages: English at least B1 level (for business correspondence and primary document analysis).

Nice to Have

• Experience in accounting for companies registered in foreign jurisdictions.
• Certificates or training in DipIFR / ACCA / CAP / CIPA.
• Knowledge and practical experience with IFRS.
• Experience in financial reporting and audit.
• English at least B2 level with knowledge of professional financial terminology (for oral communication).
