What to Expect / Your Apprenticeship

As a mechatronics technician, you will combine mechanics with electronics.

You will work on mechanical components and assemble them into mechatronic systems from assemblies and components. As a mechatronics technician, you will install electrical components and measure and test electrical quantities. Electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls will be built and tested by you, and mechatronic systems will be installed and commissioned. Above all, assembling and disassembling machines, systems, and plants will be part of your tasks.

The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years. Your vocational school is the Gewerbliche Schule in Ehingen.
